The Chase Team - Lauri Powell

As a native of Central Virginia, Lauri is well acquainted with the historical and cultural aspects of Wintergreen, Nelson County, and the surrounding areas, and she thoroughly enjoys sharing this knowledge with her clients.  Like many natives, Lauri ventured to other parts of the country for a period of time, and after spending a few years in Atlanta, Lauri returned to the Charlottesville area with a greater respect for the rural traditions and "small town" atmosphere it has to offer.

Through her varied careers, Lauri has built a solid background in real estate.  She spent a number of years as a real estate paralegal in the area, and she has also worked with local surveyors and contractors.  Her experience in the research aspect of real estate is a valuable asset as is her experience in searching land records for closing purposes.  She enjoyed searching land records to determine the history of properties for surveying purposes, and she also has experience with the construction process.  Lauri comes prepared to assist from the beginning to the end of the purchasing process and looks forward to an in-depth working relationship with each client that is the hallmark of a successful professional.
